Miele – Jung von Matt

The perfect couple

The brief from Johan Jäger at Jung von Matt was to create an image that embodied the concept of a perfect couple for their client Miele. The idea was born for a washing machine and a tumble dryer holding hands together. Research and various tests were initially carried out to perfect the design of the robotic arms. The two products were then photographed separately and the arms were created in 3D. As always lighting was absolutely essential, and in order to create a perfect match between the photographic studio and the 3D studio, a panoramic shot was created on the set and then transferred into the 3D program. The result – meet Mrs and Mrs Wash’n'tumble.

7-Eleven – Peacock

Oh Thank Heaven! (for slushies!)

How can you resist these deliciously refreshing, vibrant little slushies? Newly dispensed and glistening with ice cold droplets. Similarly, pearls of perspiration were appearing on the brows of our retouch artists as they raced against the clock on this project to deliver these colourful images right on time to AD Lova Bratt at Peacock.

Electrolux – Prime PR

Historical vacuum cleaners

When did you last go to a historical museum to see a modern vacuum cleaner? Well, head off to the Sjöhistoriska (Historical Maritime) Museum in Stockholm and take a look. The exhibition is all about the plastic waste that ends up polluting the seas. Shame on us all! But congratulations to the creatives at Prime and Electrolux. Well done!

Axfood – Clara reklambyrå

3D or not 3D?

That is the question. Bas Brand Identity created a design for Garants new coffee series and from their artworks we visualised and styled this image according to a sketch from Olle Olssons at Clara Reklambyrå. Finding a coffee plant in the middle of a swedish winter in is not the easiest thing but as always we rose to the challenge and the coffee plant has now found itself a new home in our kitchen. So come on by and try some of the coffee (or even a cup of tea). You can even let us know that you knew what part of the image was 3D… because you did know that… right?

Sony Ericsson – Locomotiv

Sony Ericsson for Locomotiv

make.believe 3D studio

In the middle of the Christmas rush we were asked to create a large format, 5 meter wide window poster for Sony Ericsson. Due to the extremely tight deadline we were in constant contact with Ad’s Stefan Tynell and Jessica Dage from Locomotive. The final image can be seen in Phonehouse’s shop store window. It portrays Sony Ericsson’s latest telephone models surrounded by Sony Ericsson’s patented Liquid Energy fluid. Luckily for us we created this photo studio in 3D as Liquid Energy fluid can be a pretty messy business in real life.

Telenor – Brindfors

Merry Xmas with love

Andreas Hallgren, project manager at Brindfors, came to us with this project and we were asked to create some good old christmas loving to some of Telenors telephone products. AD Josephine Wallin came up with the original sketches and together we developed these further to create the final images. As always at this time of year the deadlines were tight but we delivered these quality packets right on time. Thats something the big bearded guy in the red suit would be proud of himself!

Samsung – Cab Stockholm

A life without limits

Björn Ekdahl from CAB required some major renovation works to the royal palace for this Samsung ad. In real life this would not be quite so easy but after a sunny afternoons photo shoot and some creative retouching we had created a few more floors and a load more bedrooms for the royal family. You can never have too many spare bedrooms!

Press Stop – Sweet Creatives

20th Anniversary

Isn’t it amazing how many shapes you can get from a simple magazine? Sweet Creative’s team Daniel Rösth, Fredrik Harkén and Rikard Linder rode the wave of their previously successful campaign for Press Stop (see here) when they came up with the idea for these new images for Press Stop’s 20th anniversary.

For the main anniversary image, a magazine cover from 1990 was needed, so we had to dig pretty deep in Stockholm’s analogue library to find what we were looking for. Back in the day, Acrobat 1.0 was first released in 1993 so there are not too many pdfs lying around from this era.

Stockholms drainage works clean up 32 tons of scrap – every week! To encourage Stockholmers to throw their cotton waste in the bin rather than down the toilet, Soyas art director, Emanuel Penje, came up with the idea for these images. Posters and ads could been seen on virtually every street corner throughout Stockholm during this widely publicised campaign.

Ramlösa – Åkestam Holst

Strawberries in winter

It was late winter and Jesper Holst and Ikka Norberg at Åkestam Holst contacted us with a challenge. At this time of year seasonal wild strawberries were nowhere to be found for their planned photo and film production. The solution for us was to create a 3D model of a wild strawberry plant. We worked on the final retouching for the Ramlösa campaign and the still image was also used for the TV commercial.

Press Stop – Sweet Creatives

Presstop launch at Arlanda

Daniel Rösth and Fredrik Harkén of Sweet Creatives had the idea of highlighting Presstop’s wide range of magazines by presenting them in illustrative shapes. The difficulty in finding magazines large enough to be bent and shaped convinced us to use CGI and 3D models instead. Once we were able to adjust the contents of the pages in whichever way we wanted, we were then free to be able to shape and light them as we wished. The resulting images were published in newspapers and on large posters throughout the country.
