Coffee Cup Mania
Pressbyran – Åkestam Holst
For this photo/CGI shoot we used tons of bananas, polygons and cinnamon buns. The original idea was to photograph the coffee cups, but by creating them in 3D we had more flexibility. To add some nice natural colour tones to the bananas, Art Director Fredrik Josefsson used a can of glossy yellow spray. The resulting images were used widely in print.

When the going gets tough
Atlas Copco
Atlas Copco is a Swedish industrial company that was founded in 1873. It is a global leader in the manufacture of industrial tooling and equipment. For this particular job we packed up our equipment and left the studios behind. The studio for these images was a underground test mine, over 30 meters below a shopping centre. You could say that we created these tough images in a pretty tough environment.

Volt – Friskis&Svettis
Ad Jörgen Berglund and designer Åsa Stjärnquist from Volt came to us with this project for their brand new client, the Swedish sports association Friskis&Svettis (Healthy&Sweaty). Many elements needed to be retouched together to create the illusion of hand written text on steamed up windows.

Cleopatra sings opera
Folkoperan – Lowe Brindfors
AD Lina Brunzell from Lowe Brindfors contacted us for this pretty unusual model shoot for the promotion of the 2012 opera premiere ‘Cleopatra meets Julius Caesar’. Cleopatra is portrayed as a ‘rather loose woman’ in the eyes of Caesar, although in a very positive way according to the AD. The idea was born for a classical singing ‘blow up doll’ in a Cleopatra wig.

Horses for courses
ATG V75 – Åkestam Holst
This image was created for ATG (the Swedish Horse Racing Totalisator Board) the only Swedish betting company with a license for horse race betting. Tobias Tolvanen, Art Director at Åkestam Holst needed a golden logotype lying on a blue fabric for V75. We shot lots of different photographs of the fabric and our CGI team created the logo. We first thought that the CGI element would be the most time consuming, but instead the real challenge ended up being the retouch of the silky fabric. The final image and campaign appeared on TV, in print and in ATG stores throughout Sweden.

New images to relaunch successful ad campaign
As most things in life, two is better than one and that was the driving force behind this highly visual campaign by Fredrik Josefsson, AD at Åkestam Holst. The theme for the campaign was ‘A cup of coffee is seldom alone’ and together with Fredrik we created these twisty, twirly images using a whole mixture of our talents including photo, 3D and retouch. It gave us a lot of enjoyment making these lively and playful images and we hope you like them too – or should we say two.

Electrolux – Kelly and Pling
Mixing business with pleasure
This was the first time working with our new client, Kelly and Pling. Under the art direction of Måns Hermansson we set out to produce these images for an in-store campaign showing the Electrolux range of rod mixers and the marvels they can accomplish. This is minimalistic food photography at its best.
Kelly and Pling even wanted moving images to complete the stills on this project. This gave us the opportunity to work closely together with our friends at Snask Film. Using the same look and feel as the stills, Snask produced this beautiful, modern and stylish ad:

Com Hem – King
My 8 favorites – Judit look-alikes
This is the latest instalment in the Com Hem campaign by the people at King. It carries on the spirit of the fictional twin characters Judit and Judit through eight different look-alikes to illustrate the variety of channels supplied by Com Hem. The original campaign, celebrating Com Hem’s 10th anniversary, premiered in 2009 and has been extremely popular, much due to Judit and Judit’s Youtube cameo.

Stockholm Vatten – Carlsöö
150 years of clean water
Once again we have been entrusted by Emanuel Pinje and Torbjörn Olofsson from Carlsöö to supply images for Stockholm Vattens (Stockholm Water) yearly campaign. This year Stockholm is celebrating 150 years of tap water. Some people (mostly us proud swedes) like to think it is the cleanest tap water in the world. These wonderful views of Stockholms clear and crisp tap water are currently appearing as large format posters all over the city.

Carlsberg Sweden/Festis – No Picnic
I am a Festis!
Believe it or not but Festis was originally launched under the brand name FEST-iS in 1961 and was Sweden’s first still orange drink. A lot of changes have been made since then and behind the latest modern and youthful design is AD Isabelle Dahlborg Lidström from No Picnic. For this project we modelled and created all of the images for this spring seasons many exiting tastes.

Posten – Åkestam Holst
Talking Letters
In this digital age there is nothing that quite beats getting a personal letter through the post – unless of course it is a bill. This new and fun campaign for Posten was put together by Åkestam Holst’s AD Lars Holthe, PL Maria Ljung and designer Oscar Gardö. All you need is a computer and your voice – you do the talking, the computer does the writing and Posten delivers your letter.

Apotek Hjärtat – Åkestam Holst
We really put our hearts into this one!
Our friends at Åkestam Holst, AD Annika Trangius and PL Agneta Oppenheim, briefed us on an idea for a series of ads, posters and leaflets for the drugstore chain ”Apotek Hjärtat” (Pharmacy Heart). Together with the Nobel prize gala florist Gunnar Kaj we took the ideas one step further for the Christmas campaign. For the following January campaign we teamed up with the talented stylist Malin Thorngren and we brought out the magic once again. Since then this theme has continued to evolve leading to new and fresh ideas. Always from the heart.

Aco Nordic
No products? No problem.
This project comprised of an extremely large order of images from ACOs range of products. As the products had only just been signed off from the design stage this was the perfect situation to create them in 3D, thus providing the client with images before the actual products had been manufactured and were on the shop shelves. We did shoot the fruit though.

Axfood Garant – Bas Brand Identity
Design of the Month
Axfood commissioned us to produce the entire collection of their newly designed range of cleaning products ‘Såklart’ (So obvious) in 3D. By creating each product in 3D we could easily apply the newly designed artworks from Bas Brand Identity onto the wireframe models. We then created and delivered to the client high quality, crystal clear images viewed from different angles, and group pictures where we could easily interchange the products. The design for this range was awarded ‘Design of the Month’ by the swedish advertising magazine Resumé. Read more here…
